We at LogHaven take great pride in what we do, and we think we do some very interesting things! 

Bed, Breakfast and Barn

You have an invitation to stay with us in our beautiful, new, Bed, Breakfast and Barn.  We provide lovely rooms, private baths, a friendly atmosphere and a hearty country breakfast!  We are surrounded by the Huron National Forest, so hiking, ORV, snowmobile, and crosscountry skiing trails are at our door.  The "barn" comes in as  we invite guests to bring their horses, stay with us, stable their horse with us, and ride the trails!

Custom Home Builder

LogHaven is a licensed and insured custom home builder in the state of Michigan.  We build beautiful homes on selected pieces of property, our property or our customer's property.  The homes are built to our customer's specifications.  Our customers get what they want, the way they want it.  We insure, warranty, and guarantee our work.

Alternative Energy

Our home, LogHaven, is not connected to commercial power.  With our wind turbine, batteries and inverter, we operate successfully and happily, and never get an electric bill.  On the first Friday of every month we conduct an on site seminar: "A Basic Introduction to Alternative Energy".  Please see our alternative energy page for details.
